Hearty & Fresh Breakfast to Start the Day
Every time we arrive in the Lancaster area, the “Olde Mill Restaurant” is one of the first “landmarks” we see and I have always wanted to try it.  Since this restaurant is conveniently located in the Best Western Inn it is one of few establishments open on Sundays.  With that said, on a chilly Sunday morning we drove the short distance from our guesthouse for  a nice hearty breakfast.

The interior was warm and inviting with large wooden beams along the ceiling and gray stone and antique farming tools and memorabilia on the walls.  Tables and a few booths were scattered throughout the main dining room and an eat-in bar with stools sat close to the kitchen.

Our friendly and cheery server (I have to start remembering their names) delivered our delicious egg white omelettes with American cheese, non-greasy homefries and (ready for this), dry gluten free toast rather quickly and accurately.  Both of us couldn’t have been happier with how tasty and fresh our meals tasted.  Definitely 2 thumbs up – a good place to try at any time of day.
