Quaint Dinner in a Comfortable Setting
Lambertville, NJ
Back in Mid-November, the Husband and I drove around the New Hope area in hopes of finding a nice place for a relaxing and delicious dinner. We crossed over the New Hope – Lambertville Bridge into neighboring Lambertville and found this perfect little gem, Lambertville House, awaiting our arrival.
Inside the restaurant portion of the historic building (there are also rooms available for the out-of-towners), we were seated immediately near the bay window overlooking the covered porch and main street. Wine bottles lined a far wall and dimly lit sconces and pretty pictures offered a romantic vibe.
Our server was very informative, thorough and friendly. I couldn’t help but order a delicious Spiced Gingerbread drink from the seasonal menu and my usual filet, also a special on the menu at the time. Both steaks were delivered perfectly with a heaping scoop of potatoes and fresh vegetables and just as tasty. The bread on the other hand wasn’t as warm and good as I had hoped, but the ambiance and everything else made up for it.
I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant out.
