The husband and I spent the 2 nights before Christmas running amok in Atlantic City. On Christmas Eve afternoon, we opted to check out the new Wahlburgers in the Ocean Resort & Casino on the boardwalk. The bright green decor and lights detailing the family’s special moments welcomed you like a warm hug. Our friendly server helped us when ordering, answering any questions we had and checked up on us periodically.
We both ordered the “Our Burger” customized our own way and the sweet potato tater tots. I chose the avocado spread (instead of Paul’s housemade signature sauce) with a side of the chipotle mayo, extra pickles and no onions. The plump burgers were fresh and juicy and actually came out exactly as ordered (I like mine med well ). The one and only issue I had with my sandwich was that the bun tasted a little too cold – I’m not sure if it was even toasted. The Husband, on the other hand, relished in his toasted gluten free bun.
All additional toppings are listed under the “House” section of the menu and surprisingly the prices are not bad at all. Some are free, others are $1.00 each. Also listed are family favorites, salads and other specialty sandwiches.
Overall I highly recommend Wahlburgers to anyone within miles of one (they are popping up everywhere)…..It’s definitely a relaxing, chill place to grab a bite (or even a drink as the bar offered multiple options).
Hey, if it’s good enough for Donnie, Mark and the rest of the Wahlburger family, then it’s good enough for you.
