Red Bank, NJ
A Little Taste of Italy in a Small Jersey Town
The Husband & I ventured out for another delicious dinner, this time at Patrizia’s of Red Bank. The exterior warmly welcomes you into a large dining area with stairs on either side leading to additional seating (as if for larger parties). Old bricks line the entire wall to the right, wine racks fill shelves to the left, and the kitchen, bathrooms and pizza ovens are situated in the back.
Our server, Nunzio, although extremely busy, took the time to explain specials and answer any questions, as well as make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered.
Now for the good stuff. For an appetizer we opted for their gluten free marinara pizza (our new thing is to try that anywhere it is offered) – which could have been cooked a little bit longer for crispier crust, but regardless was still very tasty. For my entree, I ordered the Gnocchi Sorrentino with grilled chicken (also includes tomato sauce & fresh mozzarella) and the Husband chose the Grilled Chicken Paillard (with arugula, grape tomatoes, mozzarella pearls in a lemon dressing). Both meals were extremely robust and delicious and I absolutely loved the gnocchi pasta. Believe it or not, I even got the hazelnut and chocolate dessert too.
Highly recommend checking out Patrizia’s for lunch, dinner or a family gathering as they do offer family menu specials & prices too. It’s even better on a beautiful day to enjoy the surrounding Red Bank shops or to sit & dine on the small patio.
