Maplecrest, NY – Cozy, Sweet & Simply Charming
While looking for places for my fiancé (at the time) and I to stay while snow tubing, I stumbled across the Mountain Treasure B & B online and couldn’t resist its simple charm. The name truly says it all.
This cozy bed and breakfast sits nestled between the mountains providing scenic views any which way you looked. Sitting in the back of the property is a cottage that sleeps 8 or so with a kitchen, fireplace and 2 bathrooms (still looking forward to organizing a group rendevouz and staying here), and beyond that is the trickling sounds of the creek.
The rooms were sweetly decorated and clean; the linens smelled of fresh fabric softner and the bed was extremely comfortable. Agnes welcomed us upon our arrival and couldn’t have been any friendlier or more accommodating. She gave us detailed information and directions to almost every place in the area, as well as cooked our delicious breakfast each morning (which was served in a bright sunroom overlooking the beautiful backyard).
Mountain Treasure is located in-between both Hunter and Windham so it’s very convenient for those looking to enjoy the slopes or just a great place to kick back and relax.

The Cindi That Never Sleeps
