Cozy, Eclectic Little Spot
While browsing those weekly newspapers that are always sent to us, I found out that Court Jester in Aberdeen, NJ hosts a Sunday Brunch Buffet from 11 AM to 2 PM. Since I just love food and of course, trying new places, the husband and I set out to enjoy a nice breakfast to get our morning started!
Located in the corner of a strip mall, this little place is freaking awesome. Inside, book shelves lined the walls (with actual books), old posters fill the empty wall spaces and other antique memorabilia complete the decor around the restaurant. A large bar, equipped with plenty of TVs, is situated in the middle and dining tables & booths fill the side and back room.
The buffet stations were neatly arranged with different mini-cereal boxes, a stocked salad bar, omelette station, pastry table, breakfast items (pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, potatoes, bacon, syrup, etc), multiple lunch options (our choices included chicken penne alfredo, buffalo chicken soup and beef bourguignon), and finally for those who still have room, another station with fresh fruit, vanilla & chocolate pudding, jello, whip cream, yogurts and more.
The best part – mimosas are $3.95 and the buffet is only $12.95 per person. You totally can’t beat those prices!!! The food is fresh and tasty and in all honesty not salty or over seasoned. Our server, Caitlin, was wonderful – very friendly and attentive throughout our entire visit. This is a definite spot to check out!
