Located off the lobby of the resort, we stopped in ‘Strong Water Tavern’ for a quick bite and drink after our flight. Our server, Michael, was incredibly friendly and efficient in delivering our food quickly. He recommended a few delicious dishes and drinks that we opted to try. We ordered Colombian beef steak empanadas with spicy green garlic sauce, Little Havana’s Ropa Viejo and the US beef sliders – all offering a bit of an island vibe. The creatively presented food was beyond tasty and flavorful. In fact the entire restaurant offered a comforting old world island feel with a large wood bar surrounded with industrial style tables and stools, and fans whirling to keep you cool. Overall: A must try spot with great atmosphere and drinks!!
