The Carriage House at Strasburg

Home Away From Home in Beautiful Historic Strasburg, PA

It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon when the Husband and I arrived at The Carriage House at Strasburg for our one-night stay, while in the Lancaster area for a football game (we won 38 – 7, but that’s another story!). Check-in was simple – I received a text message and email with all the details for entry in to our room. Parking is directly in front of your door (very convenient), allowing for easy unloading and loading.

Inside, the room was immaculate with simple decor and soft lighting. Along the far wall is an A/C wall unit, small microwave and mini fridge (who doesn’t love that?!). A flat screen tv with Xfinity cable sits perched on a small dresser. Our bathroom was very clean, and stocked with soft towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner and extra TP and tissues. The best part of our stay was the most comfortable and fluffiest pillows we have ever slept on. Same with the mattress. So much so, the Hubs was asking what brand they were and to try and order them.

As a bonus, The Carriage House offers a breakfast voucher for “Speckled Hen” – a delicious, cafe that features artisan food and craft coffee and is located directly across the street. Definitely another must try place! https://www.speckledhencoffee.com/

All in all, Hubs and I would definitely recommend booking a room at The Carriage House. King, Queen and Double Rooms, as well as, multiple suites are available. The property is located on Main Street in Historic Strasburg, with antiques & shopping close by – oh & there’s also an ice cream shoppe down the street.
